Fall Gourmet Newsletter, Volume 5

soreyaThis Saturday (Nov. 2) is the perfect time for a shopping trip to Orinda. Stop by the Orinda Community Center’s 37th Annual Holiday Bazaar for plenty of yummy samples of our specialty food products. My booth will be in the main auditorium, a great place to pick up gifts for the upcoming holiday season. I’ll have pre-made gift baskets and gift bags for you to choose from.

I’ve been invited to judge at the 4th Annual International Chocolate Salon at Fort Mason in San Francisco. Tickets are required, so get yours now and come enjoy a day of chocolate. I hope to bump into you in the aisles where I’ll be busy taking notes on the more than 30 chocolatiers, confectioners, wineries and other culinary artisans attending. Chocolate drinks, chocolate truffles, chocolate dipped fruits and chocolates infused with everything from chili pepper to lavender. If it’s a trend in chocolate, you can bet it will be at this year’s Chocolate Salon.

Another Christmas show has been added to my 2013 Events schedule. Christmas at Kohl Mansion is a tradition I’ve enjoyed for more than 10 years. The Mansion will be beautifully decorated for Christmas, a true sight to behold–the perfect setting for a holiday boutique. Come meet me, enjoy samples of our products and stock up on Narsai’s Specialty Foods Gifts for this holiday season. Mention this newsletter for 10% off your purchase.

Coming up with the perfect alternative to a traditional gift basket is no easy task. After weeks of searching, I found these lovely hand-made paper gourmet gift bags–available in two sizes and two colors.

Black and Tan Sundae Kit

All you need for a glorious black and tan sundae is one jar of Chocolate Decadence and one jar of Butter Caramel Decadence. Packaged together in a lovely

tote bag (available in black or white.)

$20.50 at shop.narsai.com.

A Gourmet Trio

I’ve filled this bag with my favorite combination: Green Peppercorn Mustard, Chocolate Decadence and Nectarine Chutney. A unique gift for the gourmet food lover on your list.

Available in black or white.

$26.75 at shop.narsai.com.

Choose from pre-made gift bags, or add your favorite combination of Narsai’s Specialty Foods and you have an instant gift. A fresh, unique and beautiful presentation–and best of all, it’s easy.

I ship anywhere in the Continental US. Pick out a gift bag filled with our delicious gourmet condiments and I’ll take care of getting it where it needs to go.

One of the most important things I learned while working alongside my Uncle at his iconic restaurant, was to enjoy the simple pleasures of food and wine.
